Noi Bai International Airport crowded on first day of national holiday
VOV.VN - Large crowds formed at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi on September 1 as people flocked to tourist destinations across the country to enjoy the National Day holiday.
The airport is far busier compared to normal days. Indeed, September 1 sees 414 flights carrying 76,500 passengers pass through Noi Bai Airport, increasing by around 20% compared to the previous day.
Severe congestion is experienced at certain points of the airport during the morning’s peak hours.
A child seems tired of waiting for parents to complete the check-in procedures.
Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport two and three hours before their departure time.
Self-check-in kiosks also operate at full capacity throughout the entire day.
