VOV.VN - Big Bang, a well-known pop band from the Republic of Korea (RoK), have just updated the destinations for their upcoming global tour to celebrate the band's 20th anniversary, including Hanoi.
YG Entertainment on June 11 loaded a poster updating the destinations of the "BIGBANG 2026 WORLD TOUR" on its official social media page.
BigBang will have two concerts at My Dinh National Stadium in Hanoi on October 24 and 25.
According to the schedule, the world tour will kick off with two concerts in Goyang, the RoK on August 21 and 23, then continue through North America, Europe, Oceania, Japan, and Asia until February of next year.
The global tour features a total of 31 performances across 18 cities worldwide including Auckland, East Rutherford, Paris, London, Singapore, and Tokyo.
The destinations are impressive because they are all large indoor stadiums and venues such as Goyang Stadium, MetLife Stadium, Stade de France, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Kaohsiung National Stadium, Taipei Dome, Tokyo Dome, Kyocera Dome Osaka, and PayPay Dome Fukuoka.
YG Entertainment stated that the Korean company tried all efforts to meet the expectations of fans who have been waiting for so long, and additional venues would be announced gradually in the coming time.
To celebrate their 20th anniversary, the Korean band will continue to connect with fans through various projects. Among them is Still Alive which involves fans authenticating personal items such as lightsticks and concert tickets that hold memories with BigBang, and then sharing their personal stories.
This is the Korean band's first world tour in 9 years since their reunion.
VOV.VN - K-pop star G-Dragon will perform in Hanoi on November 8 as part of phase 4 of his Übermensch World Tour, marking his second visit to Vietnam this year following his June show at My Dinh National Stadium.
