
VOV.VN - The first-ever light show featuring a total of 200 drones will be held as a highlight of the opening ceremony of the Vietnam Tourism Year - Dien Bien 2024 and Ban (Bauhinia) Flower Festival in mid-March.
Utilising both drones and music, the light show is expected to create an impressive visual effect for those attending the event.
Visitors will have the chance to admire an array of colourful symbols, such as a Vietnamese map, a flying dragon, the tourism logo of Dien Bien mountainous province, the Ban flower, Muong Thanh field, the national flag, as well as various symbols of tourist cities throughout the country.
Vietnam Year - Dien Bien 2024 is scheduled to be launched on March 16 and is expected to attract a large number of tourists to the province. The locality aims to receive 1.3 million visitors and earn VND2.2 trillion, equal to US$89.32 million, from tourism this year.
The festival will serve as a boost for the local tourism sector whilst also contributing to enhancing the overall attractiveness of Vietnamese tourism to international visitors.
