France and Italy qualify for DIFF 2023 final night in July

By beating strong opponents, France and Italy that have obtained the highest score will vie for a title on the final night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2023 themed ‘The World Without Distance’, said Ngo Thi Kim Yen, vice chairwoman of the Da Nang municipal administration and head of the organizing board.

For their previous spectacular performances, Yen said the organizing board has decided to double the prize value. Accordingly, the winners will receive a prize of US$20,000 while the runners-up will be given a US$10,000 prize.

DIFF 2023 has attracted eight teams from Vietnam, Finland, Canada, France, Australia, Italy, Poland, and the UK.

“All the teams put on excellent performances, and it’s hard to select two best teams to progress to the final night,” confided Yen. “However, the two teams France and Italy made more impressive performances, so they were selected to display in the final night”.

The final night of DIFF 2023 will be broadcast live on Vietnam Television, channel 1 (VTV1) on July 8 night.
