VOV.VN - Nguyen Hoang Phuong Linh, a model hailing from Ho Chi Minh City, has surpassed 42 other contestants to be named winner of the Miss Cosmos Vietnam 2025 pageant.
The grand finale of Miss Cosmo Vietnam 2025, held in Nha Trang city on June 21 evening, marked a significant milestone in the journey themed “Shoot for The Moon”, featuring 43 contestants from across Vietnam.
After a series of competitions, including swimwear, evening gown, Q&A, and a debate round, Phuong Linh captured the hearts of both the judges and the audience with her confident stage presence, articulate communication, and composed demeanour.
In the Top 5 Q&A round, Phuong Linh impressed with her clear and thoughtful responses, emphasising the importance of social responsibility and the role of a modern beauty queen as a connector and changemaker in the new era.
She was one of two contestants selected for the newly introduced debate round, alongside Do Cam Ly, a fourth-year student from Ho Chi Minh City majoring in international relations. Both presented their community projects, challenged each other with sharp questions, and delivered convincing rebuttals, leaving a strong impression of a new generation of beauty queens who are not only elegant but also intelligent, confident, and socially aware.
Born in 1999, Phuong Linh holds a degree from University of Washington with a GPA of 3.6/4.0, and an associate degree from Houston Community College with a GPA of 3.95/4.0. She currently works as an IT audit specialist at a major corporation.
With her well-proportioned figure (87–65–91 cm), height of 1.75 m, and fluent English, Phuong Linh was seen as a top contender from the early days of the competition.
In her first speech as Miss Cosmo Vietnam 2025, she expressed heartfelt gratitude to her family, friends, and supporters, crediting them for helping her pursue the dream. She shared her ambition to use her reign to carry out meaningful community projects, inspiring young people and women across Vietnam.
Phuong Linh will go on to represent Vietnam at Miss Cosmo International 2025, a prestigious global pageant that brings together contestants from around the world, later this year.
