VOV.VN -Vietnamese movie "May nhung khong mua”, known as “Live In Cloud Cuckoo Land” in English, has been chosen for the Orizzonti Short Competition category at the 77th Venice Film Festival 2020.

Directed by local pair Vu Minh Nghia and Pham Hoang Minh Thy, the film depicts a love story involving a female bridal shop worker and a male street vendor.
Running a total of 19 minutes in length, the feature packs a series of events into its running time, including a wedding ceremony, a traffic jam, and a burglary, whilst also showcasing a number of beautiful sites located nationwide.
The Orizzonti Short Competition category will see "May nhung khong mua” compete against 11 other short films for the award.
The film festival is scheduled to take place from September 2 to September 12.
(VOV) -The Federation of Film Critics of Europe and the Mediterranean (FEDORA) on September 5 selected an independent film Dap Canh Giua Khong Trung (Flapping in The Middle of Nowhere) as best film at the 71st Venice Film International Festival.
The Vietnamese film “Choi Voi” (Adrift) will be screened during the 66th International Film Festival in Venice, Italy from September 2-12.
