VOV.VN - The Ministry of Information and Communications, working in collaboration with Vietnam Post, has launched a new postage stamp collection aimed at honouring King Dinh Tien Hoang.
The purpose of the stamp collection is to commemorate the 1,100th birthday of King Dinh Tien Hoang in a bid to show gratefulness for the king's contributions to the nation.
The collection was released on March 22 and it will be available on the postal network up to December, 2025.
Designed by artist Nguyen Du, the collection includes a 32 x 43 mm stamp costing VND4,000 each.
It will be introduced in five major cities and provinces including Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Thua Thien-Hue, Khanh Hoa, and Ninh Binh provinces.
VOV.VN - As the upcoming Lunar New Year – the Year of the Dragon – is drawing near, dragon images, all of which symbolise happiness, peace, and luck, have been chosen to be featured in a new stamp collection.
