Vietnam International Fashion Week casting round kicks off in HCM City

Hundreds of models were made to compete to impress five Vietnamese judges, including Nam Trung, creative director; supermodel Anh Thu; Miss Universe Vietnam’s first runner-up Huong Ly; model Thuy Duong, also known as TyhD; and Anh Duong, show director of MultiMedia JSC.

According to information given by the organising board, after the casting round the judges will continue to hold private selection sessions with talented designers to choose the most suitable models who will go on and participate in the Vietnam International Fashion Week Spring Summer 2024, which is scheduled to take place from June 13 to June 16.

The Vietnam International Fashion Week was first held back in 2014 and quickly became the leading fashion event in ASEAN. In terms of Asia, it ranks as the fourth largest show after Tokyo, Seoul, and Shanghai fashion weeks.
