VOV.VN - In October, residents and visitors in Singapore can savor authentic Vietnamese pho (noodle soup) at the Vietnam Pho Festival 2025, taking place over two days, October 18-19, at the bustling Our Tampines Hub.
The event is organized by the Vietnamese Embassy in Singapore in collaboration with Tuoi Tre (Youth) Newspaper, under the guidance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, coinciding with the recent upgrade of bilateral ties to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, highlighting both cultural and diplomatic links.
Le The Chu, Editor-in-Chief of Tuoi Tre, emphasized that Pho, a simple yet refined dish, has transcended culinary borders to become a cultural ambassador of Vietnam. Carrying the message “Pho – Enjoying together, growing together,” the festival not only invites international guests to enjoy this iconic dish but also enhances community connections and opens opportunities for bilateral cooperation in tourism, trade, and investment.
For the first time, the festival will be hosted at Our Tampines Hub, with enhanced scale and depth. Visitors can enjoy Vietnamese Pho prepared by professional chefs and explore Vietnamese culture through exhibits on pho history, traditional attire experiences including Áo Dài (long dress) and Áo Bà Ba (southern peasant blouse), along with conical hats and traditional music performances, along with interactive sessions with Singaporean artists.
Alongside the festival, the Vietnam-Singapore Investment, Trade, and Tourism Promotion Forum 2025 will bring together 150 businesses from both countries to discuss green logistics, tourism, agricultural products, and e-commerce.
