VOV.VN - Wonderful rhythms and lyrics will be featured at the “Happiness Concert” due to take place at the Ho Guom Opera House in Hanoi on December 29 to ring in New Year 2025.
The concert, part of annual New Year celebrations, will gather together famous international artists along with many local artists.
It will see performances put on by artists of the Vietnam National Academy of Music Youth Orchestra (VNAMYO) under the baton of famous conductor Tran Nhat Minh.
They will be joined by veteran violist Bui Cong Duy, opera singer Dao To Loan, soprano Claudia Potemkina of Belarus, and tenor Manuel Amati of Italy.
Audiences will be introduced to a range of classic musical instruments and masterpieces put on by famous composers during the concert.
They will present 20 of the world’s most famous works, including “He’s a Pirate” from movie the Pirates of the Caribbean, “Music of the night” from the Phantom of the Opera, and “La danza tarantella napoletana”.
Artists will perform works such as excerpts from “Vietnam Suite” composed by Gara Garayev and “What a wonderful world”.
