VOV.VN - The Autumn Fair 2025 is not only the largest trade event ever held in Vietnam but also a symbol of the country’s creativity, integration, and economic recovery, contributing to promoting Vietnamese goods and affirming Vietnam’s position on the international stage.
Taking place from October 25 to November 4, at the Vietnam Exposition Centre, Hanoi, the fair covers more than 130,000 m², with 3,000 booths from nearly 2,500 domestic and international enterprises, and is expected to attract about 500,000 visitors per day. It is a national trade promotion event organised by the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ministry of Finance, and the Hanoi People’s Committee, under the direction of the Prime Minister.
Themed “Connecting People with Production and Business”, the fair aims to inspire creativity, strengthen supply–demand linkages, stimulate domestic consumption, and promote the international integration of Vietnamese goods. The event is expected to contribute to achieving Vietnam’s economic growth of over 8% in 2025 and more than 10% in the following years.
According to Vu Ba Phu, Director of the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (Vietrade) under the MOIT, the Autumn Fair will become an annual event, serving as a platform connecting Vietnamese enterprises with international importers and distributors, while promoting investment cooperation, technology transfer, and export market expansion.
The exhibition space will be divided into five themed zones - Prosperous Autumn, Essence of Vietnamese Culture, Hanoi’s Autumn Charm, Vietnamese Land in Autumn, and Family Autumn, offering visitors a rich and colourful journey through Vietnam’s economic and cultural landscape during Hanoi’s most beautiful season.
Hanoi was chosen as the host city not only for its modern exhibition infrastructure but also for its deep cultural identity, symbolising the connection between tradition and modernity, commerce and creativity. According to Nguyen Anh Duong, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, the city has carefully prepared infrastructure, security, transportation, environmental sanitation, and support services for both citizens and businesses.
The “Hanoi’s Autumn Charm” space will feature warm golden tones reminiscent of Vòng green rice, Vạn Phúc silk, yellow daisies, canary trees, and the scent of milk flowers - all symbols of Hanoi’s elegance, creativity, and sophistication.
The fair will showcase a wide range of products, including handicrafts, OCOP products, high-tech innovations, and traditional village goods, many of which will be introduced for the first time. The organisers have implemented strict quality control measures to ensure product standards, food safety, fire prevention, security, traffic management, and environmental hygiene.
According to Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien, Standing Deputy Head of the Autumn Fair 2025 Steering Committee, this is a “fair that connects trade, investment, and tourism with culture and innovation”, while also celebrating 40 years of Vietnam’s Đổi Mới (Renovation) and affirming the rising global position of Vietnamese products and services.
The fair brings together 2,500 enterprises specializing in from diverse sectors, from industry, science and technology, innovation, cultural industries, e-commerce, agriculture and processed food, to consumer goods, services, and tourism. It is expected to become a prestigious meeting place, a national four-season trade fair brand (Spring – Summer – Autumn – Winter), and a top destination for investors and international partners.
Vietrade director Vu Ba Phu emphasised that the fair represents a strategic step in reforming the national trade promotion model, as businesses will not only showcase products but also demonstrate technologies, brands, and sustainable green business philosophies.
In a time of global economic uncertainty, the Autumn Fair 2025 is expected to revive market confidence, affirm the inner strength of Vietnam’s economy, spread the spirit of the ongoing campaign “Vietnamese people prioritise using Vietnamese goods”, and showcase an image of a dynamic, innovative, integrated, and prosperous Vietnam.
The Autumn Fair 2025, Vietnam’s largest-ever fair to be held, is expected to help stimulate consumption, boost production and business, expand foreign trade, and contribute to achieving this year's growth target of over 8%.
Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son has urged faster booth construction and insisted that only the most outstanding, high-quality products be showcased at the Autumn Fair 2025 while inspecting preparations for the event at the Vietnam Exposition Centre in Hanoi's outlying Dong Anh commune on October 19.
Over 90% of infrastructure items, including electricity, water supply, security and communications systems, have been completed for the Autumn Fair 2025, organisers reported.
