VOV.VN - The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (ICHAM), in coordination with Prometeo Group, opened the “Italy Days in Da Nang 2025” event series on November 6 at APEC Park in central Da Nang City, with the prominent “Italian Expo” event featuring products from Italy.
The event takes place from November 6 to 8 under the patronage of the Embassy of Italy in Vietnam, the Consulate General of Italy in Ho Chi Minh City, and the Da Nang People’s Committee. This is the first time the event has been held in Da Nang, bringing together more than 40 Italian enterprises along with domestic and international partners.
The “Italian Expo” presents products and technologies across five key sectors, including lifestyle and interior design; energy, electrical, and water technologies; machinery, equipment, and construction solutions; food and beverages; education and services.
Michele D’Ercole, Chairman of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam, said choosing Da Nang as the venue for the “Italian Expo” is a strategic step to promote trade and investment in the central region.
Italian Ambassador to Vietnam Marco Della Seta affirmed that “Italy Days in Da Nang” not only promotes economic cooperation but also highlights shared cultural values between the two nations as a contribution to deeper mutual understanding and friendship between Vietnam and Italy.
Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People’s Committee Ho Quang Buu expressed confidence that “Italy Days in Da Nang” will open new cooperation opportunities in trade, investment, and cultural exchanges between Da Nang and Italian partners.
As part of the event, the “Italy-Da Nang cooperation” workshop focuses on four pillars of co-operation: education, culture, people-to-people diplomacy, and economic relations. At the workshop, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam and the Da Nang Young Entrepreneurs Association signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to boost trade, investment, and innovation between enterprises of the two countries.
Another highlight is a photo exhibition on Vietnam-Italy friendship, showing connections between the two peoples in both past and present, from the wartime period to cooperation during the COVID-19 pandemic response.
The Investment Connectivity Forum 2025 has been held in Milan, Italy, drawing nearly 200 representatives from Italy's corporations, banks, and investment funds.
