The event is expected to attract more than 300 delegates representing ministries, agencies, and businesses, along with 30 delegates from the Big Data Development Bureau in China’s Guangxi province, as well as Chinese import–export enterprises.

Gia Lai seeks to boost the export of its key agricultural products such as coffee, chili, coconut, pepper, honey, macadamia, cashew, fruits, bird’s nest, aquatic and seafood products; its typical rural industrial products, and local OCOP products.

The conference aims to strengthen production–consumption linkages; promote brands and export orientation; and connect Gia Lai businesses with Chinese importers. It will also implement the Government’s and Ministry of Industry and Trade’s policies on boosting product consumption and market expansion.

The event will create conditions and opportunities for local enterprises to promote and showcase the province’s flagship product brands and export-oriented goods to Chinese importers.

China has been Vietnam’s largest trading partner for many consecutive years. It is one of the most important export markets for Vietnamese agricultural products, especially dragon fruit, watermelon, durian, banana, jackfruit, sweet potato, rice, coffee, rubber, and seafood.

Gia Lai province looks to boost cross-border trade with Cambodia
