VOV.VN - More than 100 leading enterprises from around the world are set to participate in the sixth Binh Duong International Woodworking Machinery Exhibition (BIFA WOOD VIETNAM 2025), slated for August 6 - 9 in Ho Chi Minh City.
The exhibition will feature over 1,000 booths from leading companies across Vietnam, the United States, Europe, Japan, China, and other major markets. It will showcase three main product categories, namely advanced woodworking machinery and equipment; premium raw timber materials; as well as accessories, hardware, and supplies related to the wood industry and supporting sectors.
Themed “Smart Furniture Solutions” the expo aims to spotlight cutting-edge technologies, automation systems, and digital transformation trends which are currently reshaping the global woodworking industry. It will also provide a platform to highlight state-of-the-art machinery and internationally certified materials, along with innovative smart solutions that enhance manufacturing efficiency.
The exhibition will offer businesses unparalleled opportunities to engage directly with top-tier technologies and equipment from leading markets, stay updated on the latest production methods and industry trends, and foster meaningful partnerships across the entire wood industry value chain.
Organisers have said BIFA WOOD VIETNAM remains fully committed to supporting the wood industry in boosting its production capabilities, expanding its export potential, and strengthening international co-operation. The event plays a pivotal role in promoting the Vietnamese wood industry’s brand whilst elevating its position on the global stage.
A series of activities will be held during the expo, including B2B business matching sessions, market update seminars featuring insights from both domestic and international experts, and a strategic partnership signing ceremony between Vietnamese and global enterprises.
The fair will be held under the auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and the Ministry of Industry & Trade, with the official support of major Vietnamese wood associations, including the Vietnam Timber & Forest Product Association (VIFOREST), Handicraft & Wood Industry Association of Ho Chi Minh City (HAWA), Binh Duong Furniture Association (BIFA), Dong Nai Wood and Handicraft Association (DOWA), and Binh Dinh Forest Products Association (FPA Binh Dinh).
In the face of global trade turbulence caused by sudden tariff changes in the US and shifts in global supply chains, Vietnam’s wood and wood product exports have managed to maintain positive momentum.
VOV.VN - The Vietnamese wood sector is looking to adopt digital solutions aimed at ensuring supply chain transparency and meeting US market standards.
