
VOV.VN - Retail prices of petrol rose by more than VND500 per litre in their third consecutive increase as from 3pm on June 27, following the latest adjustment by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the Ministry of Finance.
Accordingly, the retail price of RON95 climbed to VND23,010 per litre, up VND550, while that of E5 RON92 rose by VND510 to VND22,010 per litre.
Meanwhile, diesel 0.05S and kerosene are now sold at VND20,680 and VND20,610 per litre, up VND320 and VND260, respectively.
The price of Mazut increased by VND220 to VND17,440 per kilo.
In this price adjustment, the two ministries decided not to use the petrol price stabilisation fund.
Since the beginning of this year, petrol prices have undergone 26 adjustments, with 12 times up, 7 down, and 7 mixed changes.
Experts say, petroleum prices in the past week were impacted by factors such as escalating tensions in the Middle East, high oil inventories in the US, and the prolonged military conflict in Ukraine. These factors caused world petroleum prices to fluctuate in recent days, mainly on an upward trajectory.
