VOV.VN - The Vietnam Industrial Park Summit 2025 is scheduled to take place in Hanoi on May 29, aiming to explore comprehensive and sustainable solutions to accelerate the development of industrial parks across the country.
Jointly organized by the Vietnam Industrial Real Estate Association in collaboration with IEC Consulting, the summit is expected to draw 800 local and international delegates, including representatives from management agencies, industrial park developers, investment funds, and technology experts.
The forum will serve as a vital platform for delegates to discuss strategic directions for the sustainable growth of Vietnam’s industrial zones, thereby enhancing international integration, and keeping up with the global trend toward greening supply chains.
As global supply chains, production models, and energy structures continue to evolve, Vietnam is increasingly seen as a strategic destination for foreign investment. At the same time, growing emphasis on sustainability, environmental - social - governance (ESG) standards, digital transformation, and emission reduction is driving a fundamental restructuring of the industrial park system which has been long considered a cornerstone of Vietnam’s economic growth.
This year's forum aims to concretise a development strategy for new-generation industrial parks with a focus on the 2025 – 2030 period. Discussions will centre on sustainable infrastructure investment in line with socio-economic development; the development of ecological and smart industrial park models; and the application of advanced technology solutions.
A series of thematic seminars will be held during the event, covering key topics such as smart industrial park planning, building ecological zones through industrial symbiosis, and sustainable development solutions.
VOV.VN - On March 12, National Assembly (NA) Chairman Tran Thanh Man attended a groundbreaking ceremony for the VSIP II Quang Ngai Industrial Park, an investment, construction, and infrastructure development project.
The eco-industrial park (EIP) model is emerging as a key driver of Vietnam’s industrial and economic development. This approach not only delivers economic benefits to businesses and communities but also plays a crucial role in environmental protection and enhancing workers' quality of life.
