VOV.VN - The Vietnam Pavilion opened on September 25 at the 4th Global Digital Trade Expo (GDTE 2025) in Hangzhou, China, the country’s largest e-commerce event this year.
The expo brings together thousands of businesses, organizations and leading experts in digital technology and e-commerce from across the world.
This is the second time Vietnam has launched a national pavilion at GDTE. It features 16 Vietnamese companies and is designed as a modern trading hub showcasing software solutions, AI applications for business management and optimization, e-commerce platforms that help expand markets and boost online exports, as well as cross-border logistics services ensuring fast and efficient delivery.
With the message “Made in Vietnam, Made for the World”, the pavilion highlights a dynamic, innovative and creative Vietnam while offering opportunities for global investors and partners. It also underlines the nation’s ambition to play a greater role in digital supply chains worldwide.
Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy, Deputy Director of the Center for Trade and Investment Promotion under the Trade Promotion Agency, said Vietnam’s presence at GDTE 2025 is not only a chance to promote its products and services but also to expand exports, enhance competitiveness, and build sustainable trade connections in line with emerging e-commerce trends.
The expo running until September 29 features networking sessions, site visits and business meetings hosted by the Trade Promotion Agency with major Chinese digital and e-commerce companies, including Alibaba, Tiktok, Antgroup and Wuchan.
Vietnam is ready to deepen economic cooperation with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), China and other partners, embracing a strategy of “harmonised interests and shared risks” as it leverages its fast-growing economy and market of over 100 million people, said Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh.
Following a strong impression at the 3rd Global Digital Trade Expo (GDTE 2024), the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Industry and Trade will lead a business delegation to the 4th GDTE, scheduled to take place from September 23–29 in Hangzhou, China.
