VOV.VN - VinFast, the leading electric vehicle manufacturer in Vietnam, kick-started an exhibition in Hanoi on July 7, introducing its new EVs to domestic consumers and visitors for the first time.
On display at “VinFast - For a Green Future” are three new EV models - VF 3, VF 6, and VF 7 – along with the first electric bicycle model recently released in the domestic market.
Most notably, eyes were on the VF 3 - a mini electric car model which has been marketed after only one month of its announcement. The car boasts a compact, powerful, and modern design, and it is expected to be the new "national" model of Vietnamese road users.
Furthermore, Vingroup’s For Green Future Fund was officially established on this occasion towards the goal of achieving net zero emissions by 2050.
Addressing the opening ceremony, Nguyen Viet Quang, vice chairman and chief executive officer of Vingroup, affirmed that VinFast, the subsidiary automaker of the Vietnamese conglomerate, is fully committed to making practical contributions to fulfilling the Government’s goals of green and sustainable development.
He expressed his belief that the establishment of the “For a Green Future” fund will change people’s mindset whilst creating a sustainable green lifestyle for everyone.
The exhibition "VinFast - For a Green Future" is scheduled to run through to July 9 before being rolled out in 10 other cities and provinces across the country.
VinFast will give the public a look at its new lineup of electric cars (EVs) at an exhibition running from July 7 to September 20.
VinFast officially launched the VF 3, a mini electric car model designed specifically for the Vietnamese market.
