Ho Chi Minh City streets decked out for upcoming election

Ensuring security and safety alongside the accelerated application of digital data and information technology has been identified as a central priority in preparation for the upcoming NA and People's Council election, Maj. Gen. Nguyen Quoc Toan, Chief of Office and Spokesperson of Ministry of Public Security has said.

Swiss Ambassador to Vietnam Thomas Gass underscored the significance of the March 15 election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026–2031 tenure, while expressing optimism for intensified parliamentary collaboration to reinforce Vietnam-Switzerland ties.
