VOV.VN - The former imperial city of Hue has marked the start of the 2024 Lunar New Year, known locally as Tet, the Year of the Dragon, with the re-enactment of a Neu (bamboo) pole erecting ceremony once held by the Nguyen Dynasty (1802-1945) in Hue.
VOV.VN - Many streets throughout the capital have been colourfully decorated with national flags, bulbs, flowers, and posters to ring in the Lunar New Year – the Year of the Dragon in Vietnam.
