Ceremony marks 10th anniversary of Vietnam-Denmark comprehensive partnership

VOV.VN - Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan participated in a ceremony held on November 21 in the Danish capital of Copenhagen to celebrate a decade since the establishment of the Vietnam-Denmark comprehensive partnership.

Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan begins an official visit to the Kingdom of Denmark on November 20 at the invitation of Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen. Attending a ceremony to mark the 10th anniversary of the Vietnam-Denmark comprehensive partnership is part of her busy schedule in the northern European country.

Vice President Xuan and delegates attend a flag salute ceremony ahead of the event.

Joint bilateral relations have increasingly been strengthened over the past five decades, especially after the two countries upgraded their ties to that of a comprehensive partnership in 2013.

VP Xuan is joined by Her Royal Highness Crown Princess of Denmark Mary Elizabeth at the ceremony.

Since the two nations first established their diplomatic ties in 1971 and set up a comprehensive partnership in 2013, the two countries' relations have been developing more practically and effectively, Vietnamese Ambassador to Denmark Luong Thanh Nghi affirms at the event.

Deputy Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, and H.E. Mrs. Lina Gandløse Hansen addresses the ceremony.
