VOV.VN - Four Vietnamese women are among the country’s most outstanding female entrepreneurs, with traits such as intelligence and bravery driving their businesses to overcome challenges and achieve success.
Thai Huong, president of TH Group, is one of the most powerful businesswomen in Vietnam. In 2015 Forbes named her among the 50 most powerful businesswomen in Asia, whilst four years later she was listed among ASEAN's Power Businesswomen.
Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao, the co-founder and chairwoman of Sovico Holdings, was honoured in 2017 by Forbes as one of the world’s ultra-rich billionaires. Thao in her role as CEO and president of VietJet Air was also named among the Top 50 global leaders in 2018 by Bloomberg. As of March 7, 2021, the Vietnamese businesswoman reportedly had total assets amounting to US$2.8 billion.
Mai Kieu Lien, chairperson and CEO of Vietnam Dairy Products Jsc (Vinamilk), was featured in Asia's Power Businesswomen list in 2015 published by Forbes. She is the only Vietnamese person to be presented with the Forbes Vietnam Lifetime Achievement Award. After taking the helm of Vinamilk for more than three decades, Lien has built and developed the country's largest dairy business and increased its brand value globally.
Nguyen Thi Nga is considered one of Vietnam’s most powerful entrepreneurs. She is now president of Southeast Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SeABank) and Banking, Real Estate and Golf (BRG) Group. Forbes named her among Asia’s top 50 most influential women.
