Footballers receive warm welcome after concluding Women’s World Cup campaign
VOV.VN - The Vietnamese women’s national football team were warmly welcomed as they returned home on August 3 following their participation in the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
Vietnam end their journey at their first ever FIFA Women's World Cup after suffering the heaviest loss of the tournament with a 7-0 defeat against the Netherlands on August 1. They then come back to Vietnam on August 3.
The entire team is divided into two groups, with one departing from New Zealand to Hanoi and one leaving to Ho Chi Minh City.

The national team will spend one week with their families before preparing for upcoming international tournaments.
Their next target is a successful performance at the Asian Games (ASIAD 19) and in the qualifiers for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Thanh Nha has also attracted the interest of football clubs in France, Germany, and Thailand, although she has yet to make a decision.
