Inside view of Cat Linh-Ha Dong urban railway line
VOV.VN - With the Cat Linh–Ha Dong metro line being planned to be put into commercial exploitation from November 15, let’s take a closer look at the line ahead of its official operation.
The quality assessment results of the metro line were fully approved by the State Council for Acceptance of Construction Projects on October 29, with the final step of the project begin to put it into commercial operation.
Minister of Construction Nguyen Thanh Nghi (C) inspects a trial run of the rail line before it goes into official operation.
The line runs from Cat Linh in Ba Dinh district to Ha Dong district and features an elevated line of more than 13 km with 12 stations and a total of 13 carriages.
Passengers will be able to purchase tickets at the counters.
They will also buy tickets through the automatic machines available at each station.
A notice is put up to guide passengers on how to scan tickets at the entrance.
After swiping their ticket, the door will automatically open for guests, with passengers then heading to the third floor to wait to board the train.
Each ticket card provides relevant guidance information for passengers.
Guidance is written in both Vietnam and English.
Passengers are required to stand one metre back from the train.
Staff help guide passengers before they are permitted to board their train.
Each train, whose designed speed is 80 km per hour, features four carriages and is capable of carrying over 900 passengers.
Trains on the rail line will run between 5 a.m. and 11 p.m. every day.
Drivers are also fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
