Military hardware showcased in first rehearsal for National Day celebration

VOV.VN - More than 15,000 military and police personnel participated in a large-scale combined rehearsal on July 17, marking a key preparation milestone ahead of the 80th anniversary of Vietnam’s National Day on September 2.

Addressing the event, General Nguyen Tan Cuong, chief of the Vietnam People's Army (VPA)'s General Staff and Deputy Minister of National Defence, says the military parade this time will be deployed on land, in the air, and at sea, with the participation of ground marching units, motorized formations, an air force flyover, and a naval component featuring submarines, and surface vessels.
