National squad train intensely ahead of friendly against Jordan
VOV.VN - The Vietnamese men’s national football team held a training session on the evening of May 30 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as the squad prepares for their upcoming friendly match against Jordan.
The fixture will serve as preparation for both teams ahead of the Asian region’s second round of World Cup qualifiers which will be held in the UAE.
Duy Manh, Dinh Trong, and Minh Vuong return to practice after suffering injuries.
Key player Cong Phuong appears to be on top form.
Each of the footballers take part in some light exercise as they warm-up.
Head coach Park Hang-seo participates in some of the physical training with the team.
Some players who are still injured take part in a private training session alongside Korean doctor Choi Ju-young.
In a recent interview held with the media, striker Van Toan confirms the Vietnamese team are highly determined to secure a place in the third round of qualifying matches in the Asian region for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Each footballer is given plenty of attention from head coach Park Hang-seo who is aiming for the team to have the perfect preparation for the World Cup qualifiers. The national team are scheduled to play Indonesia on June 7, Malaysia on June 11, before facing hosts the UAE on June 15 as part of the remaining fixtures in Group G of the Asian region’s World Cup qualifiers.
Vietnam are due to play Jordan in a friendly at 11:45 p.m. on May 31, with the match being held behind closed doors.
