Ban flowers, also known as Bauhinia variegate, originally come from the country’s north-western region.
The Ban flower season typically starts in spring, with the flowers adorning Hanoi’s streets with their pure beauty. They can come in white or red, but the majority are purple.
The sight of the flowers around the capital indicates that spring is now upon us.
The emergence of the flowers serves to beautify the capital’s streets due to its soft pink and purple colours.
Each flower contains four or five petals, with each one featuring bright pink veins.
Local people who wander around Bac Son and Hoang Dieu streets can easily find the beautiful flowers in bloom.
