VOV.VN - Two Indian naval ships INS Delhi and INS Satpura docked at Tien Sa Port in Da Nang on May 19, marking the beginning of its four-day visit to the central city.
INS Satpura is a Shivalik-class stealth multi-role frigate built for the Indian navy. The keel was laid on October 31, 2002, and was launched on June 4, 2004.
INS Delhi is the lead ship of the class of guided-missile destroyers of the Indian navy. It was commissioned on November 15, 1997, with this class being among the largest warships to be designed and built in India.
The High Command of the Navy Zone 3 receives Indian naval soldiers at Tien Sa Port in Da Nang.
During the course of their stay Indian officers and crew members will pay courtesy visits to leaders of Da Nang, as well as the High Command of the Navy Zone 3.
They will also hold sporting exchange activities and visit several tourist attractions located throughout the city.
In addition, they will conduct a joint exercise with the Vietnam People’s Navy.
The Indian naval ships are fully equipped to feature modern technology.
