Vietnamese players arrive in Oman for 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers
VOV.VN - Coach Park Hang-seo and his players spent a whole night flying from the United Arab Emirates to Oman for a 2022 FIFA World Cup Asian qualifier against their hosts scheduled for October 12.
Park and his players are required to be present at Dubai International Airport at midnight for check-in procedures as the plane departs at 02.15am.
Despite one-and-a-half-hour flight, it actually takes them more than 7 hours to move from Dubai to Muscat due to immigration procedures.
Though a priority lane for entry is arranged, the whole team spend nearly two hours completing customs clearance.
The players carry their hand luggage to the boarding gate.
The Oman side arrange two 45-seater buses to transport the coaching board and players to a hotel
The players feel a bit tired after spending a sleepless night moving from Dubai to Muscat.
Vietnam will play Oman at Sultan Qaboos stadium in Muscat capital on October 12. Vietnam finish bottom of Group B after three losing games, while Oman rank fourth with three points.
