China pledges to realise high-level agreements with Vietnam
VOV.VN - China is willing to closely coordinate with Vietnam to effectively implement the high-level agreements reached between the two Parties and States, said Vice President Han Zheng during his meeting with Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh of Vietnam in Nice, France, on June 9.

He highly valued the positive momentum in bilateral ties and stressed the importance of deepening strategic exchanges, strengthening political trust, and enhancing substantive cooperation for the practical benefit of the people of both countries.
Han also conveyed greetings from Chinese Party General Secretary and President Xi Jinping to Vietnamese Party General Secretary To Lam and other Vietnamese leaders. He expressed appreciation for the warm and respectful reception given to the Chinese delegation during Xi’s recent visit.
Chinh, for his part, conveyed warm regards from Party General Secretary To Lam and other senior Vietnamese leaders to General Secretary and President Xi Jinping and other senior Chinese leaders.
He emphasised that the Party, State, and people of Vietnam highly value the recent official visit to Vietnam by Chinese leader Xi Jinping, noting that the visit’s comprehensive and substantive outcomes have provided strategic direction for the development of relations between the two Parties and two countries.
Both sides agreed to continue concretising and effectively implementing the high-level common understandings reached during the visit. They pledged to promote the Vietnam - China Comprehensive Strategic Cooperation Partnership following the “six priorities” orientation, maintain regular high-level exchanges, and strengthen cooperation in economy, trade, and investment. They also agreed to expand cooperation into science, technology, and innovation to create new drivers for bilateral relations.
Chinh proposed that top priority be given to railway cooperation, especially aiming to begin construction of the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway line that connects with China in 2025. He also called on China to support the project through concessional loans, technology transfer, and human resource training.
