VOV.VN - Zhao Leji, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China, will pay an official visit to Vietnam from August 31 to September 2.
The invitation has been extended by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press communique on August 28.
During his stay, the Chinese legislator will attend a grand celebration marking Vietnam’s 80th National Day, and co-chair the first meeting of the Cooperation Committee between the National Assembly of Vietnam and the National People’s Congress of China.
