VOV.VN - The Chairman of the National Assembly of Vietnam, Tran Thanh Man, will lead a high-level delegation of the National Assembly to pay an official visit to Russia from September 8 – 10, according to the National Assembly’s Foreign Affairs Committee.
The invitation has been extended by Vyacheslav Victorovich Volodin, Chairman of the State Duma, and Valentina Ivanovna Matvienko, Chairwoman of the Federation Council, the committee said in a communique.
During his stay, Man will co-chair the third session of the Vietnam-Russia Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Committee.
VOV.VN -Minister of National Defence General Phan Van Giang is leading a high-ranking delegation of the Ministry of National Defence on a working visit to Russia for the 10th International Military-Technical Forum (Army-2024) and inauguration ceremony of a monument dedicated to Vietnamese volunteer soldiers who joined battles to defend Moscow in the Great Patriotic War from 1941 to 1945.
