VOV.VN - Chairman of the National Assembly of Vietnam Vuong Dinh Hue arrived at Sofia International Airport on September 23, beginning an official visit to Bulgaria at the invitation of his Bulgarian counterpart Rosen Zhelyazkov
Hue and his entourage were welcomed at the airport by Rositsa Kirova, vice chairwoman of the National Assembly of Bulgaria, alongside many other senior Bulgarian officials.
Vietnamese Ambassador to Bulgaria Do Hoang Long and other officials of the Vietnamese Embassy, as well as representatives of the Vietnamese community were also on hand at the welcoming ceremony.
During his stay from September 23-26, Hue will hold talks and have meetings with senior Bulgarian leaders to discuss measures to foster cooperation between Vietnam and Bulgaria.
He is scheduled to attend a policy and law forum to promote Vietnam-Bulgaria bilateral cooperation, deliver a speech at a large university in Sofia, and receive large Bulgarian firms.
He will also meet Vietnamese ambassadors in Bulgaria, Greece, Romania, Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Turkey, along with officials and staff of the Vietnamese Embassy in Bulgaria.
VOV.VN - Chairman of the Vietnamese National Assembly (NA) Vuong Dinh Hue’s official visit to Bulgaria from September 23 to September 26 will contribute to deepening the traditional friendship and strengthening all-around co-operation between the two countries which have been built and nurtured over the past 73 years.
