Vietnam, China mark two decades of signing Land Border Treaty
VOV.VN - Vietnam and China on August 23 celebrated 20 years of signing the Treaty of Land Border between the two countries, a landmark document helping to resolve all outstanding issues relating to their land border.
Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi co-chair a ceremony in Vietnam’s Mong Cai city on August 23 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the signing of the treaty.
Deputy PM and FM Pham Binh Minh addresses delegates at the event that also marks 10 years of implementing three bilateral documents, namely a Protocol on Border Demarcation and Marker Planting, the Agreement on Border Management and the Agreement on Border Gates and Border Gate Management.

Following the celebration, both diplomats have bilateral talks.
They discussed Vietnam-China issues as well as regional and international issues of mutual concern.
