In their messages, the Vietnamese leaders affirmed that Vietnam considers the United States a strategically important partner.
They expressed confidence that, with the solid foundation built by many generations of leaders from both countries over nearly three decades, and with Trump’s strong support in both his first and upcoming terms, the Vietnam-US Comprehensive Strategic Partnership will continue to develop in a deep, effective, and sustainable manner.
This development will benefit the people of both nations and contribute to peace, stability, cooperation, and development in the region and the wider world, they said.
On the same day, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan also sent a congratulatory message to Vice President-elect James David Vance.
VOV.VN - Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha hailed US Ambassador to Vietnam Marc Knapper's contributions to promoting bilateral relations, especially the achievements the two countries have recorded after one year of upgrading relations to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership at a reception for the diplomat in Hanoi on October 31.
