
VOV.VN - Top Party and State leaders laid a wreath at President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum in Hanoi on April 29 in tribute to the president’s contributions to the Vietnamese revolution on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification.
The delegation was led by Party General Secretary To Lam, President Luong Cuong, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, along with other incumbent and former leaders.
Leaders of the Ministry of National Defence and Ministry of Public Security, as well as of the Hanoi administration also paid a floral tribute to the late President.
The leaders expressed their deep respect and gratitude for the immense contributions of President Ho Chi Minh, the brilliant leader, Hero of National Liberation and Great Man of Culture of Vietnam.
President Ho was the founder and mentor of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the vanguard of the working class, the labouring people, and the entire Vietnamese nation.
Vietnam will hold a grand ceremony in Ho Chi Minh City on April 30 to mark 50 years of the liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 – 2025).
