VOV.VN - Permanent member of the Communist Party of Vietnam’s Secretariat Tran Cam Tu on January 13 urged the Party Central Committee Office and relevant agencies to ensure absolute security and safety for the 14th National Party Congress, ahead of a full rehearsal scheduled for January 14.
The Party official was speaking during a field trip to the National Convention Centre in Hanoi to inspect preparations for the coming Party Congress. Tu and the inspection team checked the main hall, exhibition areas for books and publications, the photo exhibition, technical facilities, the International Media Centre, the command centre, as well as medical services and sound and lighting systems.
He praised agencies and units for their efforts, noting that most tasks have been completed in line with the approved plan. He called on relevant units to continue reviewing and finalising remaining items, including ceremonial decorations, technical infrastructure, media centre operations, logistics for delegates and guests, interpretation services, presentations and the welcome art programme, while maintaining the highest security standards.
All outstanding tasks must be completed by the end of January 13, he said, to ensure stable and uninterrupted operations.
The International Media Centre is expected to be ready ahead of the opening ceremony and an international press conference on the 14th National party Congress, scheduled for the afternoon of January 14.
The Communist Party of Vietnam is scheduled to hold its 14th national congress from January 19 – 25.
