VOV.VN - General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee and President To Lam, accompanied by his spouse and a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation, will pay an official visit to Thailand from May 27-29, 2026.
The visit comes at the invitation of Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and his spouse, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on May 22.
The Thai Embassy in Vietnam and the Thai naval vessel HTMS Prachuap Khiri Khan on May 19 held a ceremony in Ho Chi Minh City to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Vietnam-Thailand diplomatic relations (1976–2026), and the 136th birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh.
Vietnamese Prime Minister Le Minh Hung held separate meetings with Singaporean Prime Minister Lawrence Wong, Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, and Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto on May 8 as part of his trip to attend the 48th ASEAN Summit in Cebu, the Philippines.
