The Party Central Committee held group discussions on a draft report reviewing the Party building work and the implementation of the Party Statutes to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress, on the second working day of its ongoing 9th plenum in Hanoi on May 17.
The Party Central Committee also looked into a scheme reviewing the Politburo’s Directive No. 35-CT/TW dated May 30, 2019 and the Politburo’s draft Directive on the Party congresses at all levels leading up to the 14th National Party Congress.
In the afternoon, the Politburo met to consider, collect feedback and explain the Party Central Committee’s opinions on the draft reports.
The ninth plenum of the 13th Party Central Committee opened in Hanoi on May 16 morning.
