VOV.VN - A Vietnamese delegation led by Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son attended the ASEAN Foreign Ministers(AMM)' Retreat that opened in Luang Prabang city, Laos, on January 29 morning.
The foreign ministers are set to look into the grouping’s priorities this year under the theme of “ASEAN: Enhancing Connectivity and Resilience”, and the materizalisation of outcomes reaped at the 33rd ASEAN Summit and others.
They will also discuss issues regarding the building of the ASEAN Community, foreign relations and the regional and international situation.
Vietnam and Cambodia on January 28 pledged to provide maximum assistance to Laos to help it successfully perform the role as Chair of ASEAN 2024.
Director of the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism (VNAT) Nguyen Trung Khanh put forth some measures to boost regional tourism cooperation while addressing the 59th Meeting of the ASEAN National Tourism Organisations in Vientiane, Laos, on January 23.
