VOV.VN - The Border Guard Command of the southern province of Binh Dinh has received and provided medical assistance to a foreign sailor after they were involved in an accident while working.
Zainal Abidin, an Indonesian citizen, was working onboard the Singapore-flag KOTA GAYA ship which was on its journey from a Chinese port to Singapore.
The accident occurred while working, causing an injury on his face and left eye. Receiving a request for medical assistance from the ship, the provincial Border Guard Command swiftly moved to dispatch its military medical force and cooperated with Quy Nhon Port to send a specialized vehicle to promptly provide medical care.
The victim was then transported to the wharf of Border Guard Naval Squadron 48 for treatment. The sailor’s health is now in a stable condition.
