According to initial reports, the blaze started at around 4:30 a.m. at a local residence. At the time, the house was occupied by a couple, their child, and an infant just four months old. The fire spread rapidly, leaving all four unable to escape. They were all found dead at the scene.
Upon hearing about the news, the Hanoi Police Department dispatched firefighting and rescue units to the scene. By approximately 5:15 a.m., the fire was fully extinguished.
Relevant forces have cordoned off the area and launched an investigation into the cause of the incident.
