VOV.VN - A fire broke out on July 31 in Trung Viet Trade Investment and Import Export Company Limited in Phuoc My commune of Quy Nhon City in the southcentral coastal province of Binh Dinh, causing serious financial damage.
According to initial information from the scene, the fire occurred at 22:58 p.m. in the area close the firewood storage and the wooden plank storage.
Since the facility contained flammable objects, the fire quickly spread and rapidly engulfed a 400 square-metre area.
Immediately after the fire alarm was raised, fire fighters and fire engines were swiftly mobilised to the scene to extinguish the fire, although it was until 2:48 a.m. on August 1 that the blaze was finally brought under control.
Fortunately, all of the workers managed to escape safely from the burning site, with the loss of property yet to be estimated.
The cause of the fire is currently under further investigation.
