Housing damage is severe, with 91 homes destroyed and over 43,000 flooded, mainly in Gia Lai, Dak Lak, and Khanh Hoa provinces.

Agricultural losses are also significant, with more than 10,000 hectares of rice fields damaged and over 6,500 livestock and poultry killed or swept away.

Transportation infrastructure has been heavily affected. Currently, 47 locations on national highways are blocked or flooded, causing traffic disruptions in Quang Tri, Hue, Quang Ngai, Dak Lak, Lam Dong, and Khanh Hoa, along with multiple provincial and inter-commune roads submerged.

Notably, a section of National Highway 20 on Mimosa Pass in Lam Dong collapsed, with the roadbed and pavement destroyed over a length of approximately 70 meters and a depth of 40 meters, making it impassable.

Local authorities have closed the section and implemented traffic guidance and rerouting.

The floods also caused power outages affecting over 1 million customers, with more than 457,000 households restored so far.

Authorities continue to coordinate emergency response measures to ensure residents’ safety and restore transportation in the affected areas.
