Techfest Vietnam 2025 aims to inspire an entrepreneurial spirit rooted in science and technology, while connecting hundreds of startups and tech ventures with domestic and international investors.

The event is anticipated to attract between 600 and 800 startup projects and connect 200–300 startups with potential investors. Visitors can explore cutting-edge technologies across sectors including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), Metaverse, AgriTech, and more through interactive exhibitions and experience booths.

Running in parallel, the Vietnam - Asia Smart City Summit 2025 will focus on the theme of green, smart cities powered by AI. The summit will bring together policymakers, experts, and business leaders to share solutions for sustainable urban development, digital transformation, and green growth.

A number of activities will also be held as part of the event, such as product showcases, seminars, trade networking sessions, a competition to seek creative startup talent, a policy forum and the "Vietnam Smart City 2025" award ceremony.

The combined events are expected to create significant momentum for Vietnam’s innovation ecosystem, helping to realise the goals of the Politburo’s Resolution No. 57 on breakthroughs in the development of science and technology, and the Law on the Capital, while reinforcing Hanoi’s role as a pioneer in innovation, digital transformation, and smart city development.

Hai Phong Techfest connects Vietnamese, RoK businesses

The Department of Science and Technology of the northern port city of Hai Phong is organising the International Techfest Connect 5+, a science and technology festival to promote connectivity in the northern coastal region, from April 15-16.
