
VOV.VN - A total of nine Vietnamese universities have been named among the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2025, which was released on October 9.
Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics was listed for the first time and had the highest position among Vietnamese institutions, at between 501st and 600th.
Duy Tan and Ton Duc Thang Universities recorded the same global rankings of between 601st and 800th.
The latest recognition also placed Hanoi Medical University in the 801st to 1000th group, whilst Ho Chi Minh City Open University was in the 1201st to 1500th group for the first time.
Vietnam National University, Hanoi, was in the 1201st to 1500th, staying in the same position as it got last year.
Furthermore, the rankings put Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Hue University, and Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City, in the same group at above 1501st.
The Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2025 spans a total of 2,000 universities across 115 countries and regions globally.
The universities are judged across all their core missions, including teaching, research environment, research quality, knowledge transfer, and international outlook, providing a basis for the most comprehensive and balanced comparisons available.

VOV.VN - Five out of six Vietnamese universities have seen their improvements in the QS World University Rankings 2025(QS WUR 2025) recently released by the British education organisation Quacquarelli Symonds (QS).
