VOV.VN - The Consular Department of Vietnam’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a safety advisory for Vietnamese nationals currently residing in or traveling to affected areas in response to recent developments along the Thailand-Cambodia border.
Vietnamese nationals are urged to closely monitor and strictly comply with local government guidance, especially by avoiding areas that experience complex or escalating security situations.

Earlier on July 24, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Pham Thu Hang expressed Vietnam’s concern about the current tensions along the Thailand-Cambodia border. She called on both sides to exercise maximum restraint, refrain from the use of force, avoid escalating tensions, and resolve differences peacefully in accordance with the principles of international law, including the UN Charter and the ASEAN Charter, and the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia (TAC).
