VOV.VN - Voice of Vietnam (VOV) and Belarusian Television and Radio Company (BTRC) have signed a memorandum of cooperation, laying the groundwork for a cooperation agreement in the near future.
Under the signed document, the two sides will implement practical cooperation activities, including exchanges of radio news and articles, a free access to electronic news articles, and exchanges of working delegations, as well as organizing capacity-building training programmes.
The document was signed during a working visit to BTRC on March 21 by a VOV delegation led by VOV Vice President Pham Manh Hung.
During a working session with the BTRC leadership, the VOV Vice President briefed his hosts on the organizational structure and operations of VOV, and expressed the broadcaster’s desire to increase media cooperation with BTRC.
The initial cooperation activities identified in the signed document will enrich the availability of official news and information about Vietnam and Belarus on both broadcasters’ media platforms, thereby strengthening friendship and mutual understanding between the two countries, said Hung.
BTRC Chairman Ivan Eismont warmly welcomed the VOV delegation’s visit and hoped that the good cooperative relationship between the two countries would continue to grow, along with new collaboration initiatives in the field of media.
Eismont affirmed that BTRC that possesses a rich database covering all fields is willing to exchange content free of charge with VOV in the near future. He expressed his desire for the cooperation between the two sides to become increasingly practical and effective over time.
At the conclusion of the meeting, VOV Vice President Pham Manh Hung congratulated BTRC on its 100th anniversary to be celebrated in November 2025.
He also extended a warm invitation to the BTRC leadership to visit Vietnam and attend the 80th anniversary celebration of VOV on September 7, 2025.
