FIFA President sends congratulations to Viettel FC

In his letter, Infantino hailed Viettel FC’s victory, putting it down to a triumph of hard work and passion shown by every member of the club.

“I would be grateful if you could please extend my congratulations to everybody involved, whom I encourage to continue working with dertamination and motivation in the future,” Infantino explained.

“On behalf of the international football community, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and the VFF for your contribution to the development and the prosperity of football in Vietnam, in your region, and around the world,” Infantino wrote.

The letter was sent by the FIFA president after Viettel FC were crowned as new V.League 1 champions following their 1-0 victory over hosts Saigon FC in Ho Chi Minh City on November 8.

This was the first time Viettel FC had lifted ther trophy.
