VOV.VN - An international martial arts festival will kick off on December 20 in Ho Chi Minh City, with the exciting event featuring martial art performances, seminars, and competitions.
The festival will include martial arts delegations nationwide as well as international teams from Thailand, Indonesia, the Republic of Korea, Japan, Uzbekistan, Turkey, and the Philippines.
The festival aims to honour cultural values and the quintessence of the Vietnamese martial arts Vovinam, along with promoting traditional martial arts of many foreign countries such as Taekwondo, Karate, and Muay Thai to visitors.
It will also provide a platform in which athletes can compete and for the broader martial arts community to share knowledge whilst enhancing their skills.
The event is scheduled to last through to December 23.
VOV.VN - The seventh version of the Vietnam international traditional martial arts festival began in Quy Nhon city in the south-central province of Binh Dinh on August 8, with approximately 1,300 martial artists, local residents, and tourists in attendance at the opening ceremony.
VOV.VN - The Japanese Martial Arts Performance Festival will take place at Nguyen Du Indoor Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City on November 10.
